1. Tools needed and safety first

All you’ll need is a Phillips screwdriver.

Firstly, unplug and eliminate all power to your oven.

Turn off and eliminate all power

2. Gain access

You'll need to gain access to the back of the oven. If you have a built-in oven, it will likely be held in with screws on the side of the oven. If it’s freestanding, simply slide it out.

Remove any trays and shelves.

3. Remove old glass lens and bulb

Unscrew the glass lens.

Gently remove the bulb.

Unscrew the screws holding the rear panel in place.

With the back panel unscrewed and before removing any wires, we recommend taking a photo to reference the correct wire placement.

Then, pull the electrical connectors off.

Remove electrical connectors

With your screwdriver, unclip the assembly and push it through and inside the oven.

4. Install new bulb and glass lens

With your new assembly, pass it through and clip it in securely.

Screw on the glass lens.

Use the photo taken earlier if needed, and re-connect the electrical connectors. Make sure they’re all on tightly.

Re-attach the rear panel back to the oven and re-screw the screws in place.

That’s it, your oven lamp bulb and glass lens have been replaced and you’re all set to go!
