Hotpoint Oven 2660W Twin Grill Element
1. Tools needed and safety first
All you’ll need is a Phillips screwdriver.
Turn off and eliminate all power to your oven.
2. Gain access
You'll need to gain access to the back of the oven. If you have a built-in oven, it will likely be held in with screws on the side of the oven. If it’s freestanding, simply slide it out.
Unscrew the screws holding the rear oven panel in place.
3. Remove old grill element
With the back panel unscrewed and before removing any wires, we recommend taking a photo to reference the correct wire placement.
Then, simply pull the electrical connectors off.
Remove any trays and shelves.
Unscrew the screws holding the grill element in place and remove the grill element from the back of the oven.
4. Install new grill element
Attach your new grill element to the back of the oven, lining up the holes for the screws.
Re-screw the screws in place.
Re-connect the wiring, using the photo taken earlier if needed. Make sure they’re all tightly connected.
Re-screw the back panel on.
That’s it, your new grill element is all set to go.
