How does a twin grill element work for your oven?
This genuine spare part is designed specifically for grilling or browning food. The twin grill element operates by using electrical resistance to generate heat.
When you turn on the grill function in your oven, electrical current flows through the twin grill element.
The resistance wire within each element converts the electrical energy into heat energy. The elements become hot and emit radiant heat upwards towards the food.

grill element
reasonably priced, arrived quickly and very easy to fit (although since I am a retired electrician it should have not been difficult and wasn't). As far as quality goes, we will have to wait and see how long it lasts ,but working well at present.

HOTPOINT OVEN 2660W TWIN GRILL ELEMENT
Part was easy to find on Ransom website. Ordering process was simple. Part arrived a few days later. Carefully removed old part, taping the wires so that they didn't drop behind the oven wall. Connected and fitted the new part. Tested. Worked perfectly.

Replacement grill element for Indesit cooker
I researched this element and it is a genuine replacement for our Indesit cooker so when I compared it to the defective element it was indeed identical. The old one was a bit tricky to remove but that was the difficult part, the replacement was simple to install. It was delivered promptly and at a reasonable price and so far I am very pleased with the outcome. I will certainly consider using Ransome again in the future although hopefully the cooker will continue to perform without the need to replace any more elements!

Hi I have just purchased this element , but I forgot to take a pic of the correct wiring procedure , I have 2 white wires , 1 brown , 1 yellow , what is the correct procedure to rewire from left to right , my model is a Hotpoint 62DCWS , any help would be appreciated , as I cannot find any diagrams on the web .
