This is a genuine brake kit for your chainsaw. Easy to install in your unit.
It halts the chain when engaged and makes it safe during maintenance, transport, or when changing cuts. Also activates automatically during kickback events to prevent the chain from causing injury by stopping its movement almost instantly.
Check for cracks or breaks in the brake band or housing that could compromise its effectiveness. If any parts of the brake system feel loose or wobbly, you may need to replace them. Change it with this replacement part.
This chainsaw brake kit is from McCulloch. Also fits Jonsered and Partner chainsaws.

Genuine part
I believe this to be a genuine part as it had Husqvarna printed on it. Instructions were precise and part was easy to fit.

Good replacement, good quality
Bought this to replace the broken brake mechanism on my chainsaw (brake spring had worn through). It arrived quickly, was the best price I could find and appears to be as good a quality as the original - time will tell but it looks made to last. It was easy to fit - it’s good that the brake unit is a module otherwise it would have been a lot more tricky! Doesn’t come with screws but not needed if you have your old ones. Great value and quality product and would happily buy again if needed.

Excellent service and exactly what I needed
I found this part with a couple of clicks on the website, it was posted email to France, and it arrived in just a couple of days. Just what I needed and with the enclosed instructions, it was easy to fit. I've used Ransom Spares before and I'll certainly use them again.
