This is a genuine metal grease mesh filter for your cooker hood. Measures 506mm wide and 300mm deep.
The mesh filter catches and holds grease particles while frying. It has a broad, level surface covered with layers of tiny-pored metal grids or fine mesh.
A dirty or clogged grease filter can reduce suction power, fail to remove odours effectively, and cause grease buildup in the exhaust system, all of which can hinder your cooker hood's performance.

Do I simply wash this filter with soapy water?
Hi Paul, Warm soapy water is usually the best way to clean these. You can also put most filters in the dishwasher to clean them.
