Light assembly for Neff cooker hood
Exactly the right part for my 20 year old built-in cooker hood. Quite expensive and needs a strong hand to push into place. Otherwise it’s perfect.

Product was expensive. Although I found dearer places. Product was just what I wanted to repair a cooker hood in a property we rent. Service was great. Will definitely use ransom again

Good product at a good price
Easy to fit, and a lot cheaper than other suppliers. Looks just as good quality as the one it replaced, and haven't had any problems.

Does the job
These are direct replacement lamp units for an existing Neff cooker hood so if you are buying one it probably means one of yours has failed and you really have no choice but one of these. Within those parameters these are perfectly good items and do the job. Expensive for what they are but they seem to be the same price everywhere. To me the whole design concept of this type of lamp is flawed. They run on low voltage high current and at a high temperature and the lamp connection pins are not up to it. They always fail after a while leaving you with no choice but to replace the unit. Bad design by Neff in my view.

Can you buy just the glass for this rather than the complete unit?

Hi Kelly, for models which use this particular lamp unit, the glass is not available separately therefore the whole lamp assembly must be purchased.

How easy is it to fit?
Do you have to take off the entire hob unit?
Hi Donald, usually you can access the lamp assembly by removing the metal filter. If this isn't the case on your model, you'd need to contact an engineer or the manufacturers directly to see if they can offer fitting advice.

My Siemens cooker hood is LC89950GB - no added numbers on the booklet.
1) need both halogen lights in replaced - will your spare part fit. want whole unit replaced
2) do you have replacement metal grease grille filters for this model
3) booklet suggests there should be an activated carbon filter - never been one fitted from outset as far as I can see. can you advise please
Hi Veronica, I can confirm this is the correct halogen lamp unit for your model. The metal filter is RS44885. Unfortunately we don't have a carbon filter listed for your model.

I am looking for a replacement cooker hood lamp like Part No RS43973 but in LED not Hologen. I can't find anything specific to Bosch or Siemens models, however part RS667648 for AEG looks like it could be OK. Could you advise me. Also - what are the dimensions of part RS667648 - that is to say the internal diameter and external diameter of the unit.

Looking for replacement light unit for Neff D8990. On the housing it says CFT 1250F. 12v 20W G4. Will this unit fit or do you have one for this model? Seems to be held in place with 2 small screws
