Cheaper than a new oven!
Having first checked on Ransom Spares this grill element was the correct part for my oven. The replacing of the old element was quite easy although I would have liked some replacement screws to hold the new element to the oven roof. The most difficult and time consuming part is having to remove the whole double oven from it's built in housing in order to replace the element and re-housing it on completion. There was of course a video from Ransom Spares showing details of all procedures. The grill now works really well and as in the title - is much cheaper than a new oven!

Identifying
First I fell into the trap of believing what I recognised as the part I required was correct for my Cooker - WRONG Having reached this page as a result of googling the part number & Serial number - I was unaware that one had to look further into the site using again the part number and serial number and thus I eventually found the correct part. But what to do with the unwanted first ordered part - unpacked, Ransom were not interested - I had to bin £40's worth of scrap - that's why you only got four stars Pity - had you agreed to accept the unused/unwanted - all it required was repacking, you would have got 5!

Happy to have a grill again
With the help of the fitting instruction video, fitting the grill unit was a lot easier and quicker than it could have been. Delivery was reasonably fast (within the week) and well packaged. Happy to have real grilled toast again rather than 'toaster' toast.

Great, heating well.
Bought to replace my blown element for an AEG Oven U7101-4-M [94417131800]. Easy to fit and working well. Slight different orientation of connectors but no problem.
