Easy to fit.
In the current trend of repairing rather than throwing away, I saved the repair man’s £75 call out charge and had a go myself. Very easy to do and job done in 30 mins. My only gripe is how a tiny piece of plastic which couldn’t have cost much more than 5p to manufacture can be sold for £9.30 (inc postage). I am happy with Ransom Spares service.

Bosch coupling
Great service, part fits perfectly, bit pricey for tiny bit of plastic, but similar price from Bosch so not Ransom spared fault, thanks to Tony who was very helpful

Thought I'd have to buy untie switch so was amazed and delighted to see this little part available on its own. Happy to pay £3.95 despite believing that it probably costs nearer 3.95p, just grateful I didn't have to pay about £40 for new switch. Easy to fit on on built in oven. Hardest part was arranging suitable support for oven whilst it was out of its cavity. Ransom spares will definitely be my first port of call in future.

Small part that makes a big difference!
Our oven did not work, with its temperature all over the place, and fan staying on all night. Deduced that the control was not properly linked to the switch itself and spotted that the coupling had sheared some of its lugs. Very happy to spend £2 on a replacement coupling rather than £40 on the switch with a dozen wires to pull off and get back in the right places. Coupling arrived in two days and was easy to fit once I had found the Torx driver. I can recommend service and component, as domestic harmony is restored and food properly cooked now!

Is this the part we need as the knob itself seems fine and we have tried to replace with selector switch and this is not working either, the back pieceof plastic is just spinning round.

We have a Bosch HBM13M551B/10, the main oven knob just turns round and round, I went to switch it off as normal and heard what sound like a snapping noise. Took off the knob, and all I see is a plastic stem, that turns and turns, I assume this has snapped behind the metal plate, how do you fix these, no repair manual
