Direct Replacement for Original Fitting
The light bulb in my NEFF oven had failed. I found that the glass cover was too tight to undo without breaking something. So I ordered a replacement assembly from Ransom before attempting to remove the old light fitting. The only way to get the old bulb out was to remove the cooker from the built-in housing and then partially dismantle the top of the oven to get access to the back of the bulb, and extract it from above in pieces. The replacement unit from Ransom was exactly the same as the NEFF orginal unit, and fitted easily. To avoid the problem in future, I have left the glass cover only finger-tight, and I intend to undo the glass cover periodically! Thank you to Ransom for holding hard-to-get spare components for domestic appliances.

I'm trying to remove the glass lamp cover but it refuses to turn.
Bosch model HBG674BS1B/05 - do you have a tool to assist removal.
Think it's the smaller cover with halogen 40w 230v bulb.
The manual advises anti clockwise to remove but te figure shows a clockwise direction!
