When you bake or cook, the oven reaches high temperatures and the door seal then acts as an airtight barrier between the oven door and its cavity. No heat escapes and it preserves cooking temperatures and enhances energy efficiency.

Quality part, easy to fit
Part arrived quickly and seems to be good quality was very easy to fit. It's been on for 2 or 3 weeks and It's made a huge difference to the efficiency of the oven and the ambient temperature in the kitchen!

oven door seal
After looking around the net for a bit Ransoms were the cheapest by far for this genuine part. Order was placed but due to my error I forgot to click next day delivery. I was suprised when it turned up two days later. Fitting was so simple four clips and it was done, in fact I dont think the deliver man had got back to his van by the time I had it fitted.

I bought a seal from another parts supplier , wether I was pasteurised at the time I can't remember , could I get it to fit ? any way Ransoms cooker seal installation was life affirming , and does its job of sealing quite well !

i need a replacement bottom oven door seal for my zanussi cooker, i bought one but it feels very tight to fit, it does fit but the oven door keeps popping open. is this normal for a new door seal. my cooker is an older model zkc 5540s product number 948904404 (no other number listed after this). will the replacement seal bed its self in? p.s. have you got the measurement of the 'new' seal please.
