Neff Oven Door Glass

Good service despite covid. Good genuine part but expensive.

I managed to smash the front glass of our oven door while removing it to clean the oven. Despite covid Ransom quickly identified the part I needed and once my order went in, it was processed quickly and efficiently. The part was well packaged and arrived in 2 days. Fitting it was fairly easy although it would have been good to have had some instructions as the existing door has to be disassembled to reuse the parts not being replaced. I found an exploded view of the door parts online at neff which helped. Note this part is only the front of the oven door and because the glass is integrated with the stainless steel front you have to buy the stainless steel facade as well as the glass to repair a broken glass. It's also worth noting that there are 2 more glass panels in the complete door and you need to be careful not to damage these too. For what it is, I feel the part is expensive at over £200 but that reflects the cost of getting parts that are only made by neff (monopoly) and the cost of packing which has to be good to prevent damage in transit. Overall, pleased with the part and very satisfied with the prompt and helpful service from Ransom.
