Easy to fit
Drawer front is easy to fit onto the vegetable drawer. However it isn't very strong and will break easily if you overload the drawer with heavy root vegetables. This is the second one I have had to buy as the other one broke after less than a year.
Hotpoint front for salad drawer
Sturdy replacement front for my new salad drawer for my 2007 Hotpoint upright fridge, cheapest price around for identical item.
Easy to fit
Replacement item for the front of the salad drawer which always breaks because somebody who shall be nameless insists on overloading it!!! Easier to fit than you would think. Take the salad drawer out, turn it upside down, with the front facing you. Look carefully, and you will see what appear to be little white studs - they are. Use a thin blade to slide under the front in the middle and gently ease the front over the stud. Keep tension on to stop it reengaging and repeat for the others. After one or two have disengaged you will find that the front starts to lift away. Turn the drawer right way up and lift the front straight up to disengage the slots from the moulded spikes on the drawer base.
HOTPOINT FREEZER DRAWER FRONT
Part arrived just as said it would so no issues with Ransom's. Take the advice from someone else though. Take the box out of the fridge and bring both parts to the same (room) temperature it is a lot easier to fit. Else does exactly what it says on the tin.....
Ok product
Very fast delivery service. I can see why item is prone to cracking down the middle as when the tray gets full it can get vey heavy. Item a bit awkward to fit and would recommend that you take tray out to allowit to warm up to allow it to be more flexible.
