Bought in order to solve switch problem but turns out it was the safety cut-off switch that was seized. Otherwise good service.

Hello,
For this microswitch I am replacing the power cable. As I have already taken off the old cable I cannot remember which tab is for positive and which is for negative; perhaps there is no polarity? Can you help me and tell me, as the switch is positioned in the control box do I connect the top most tab to the positive supply?

Hi Arthur, thanks for your question. The wires will need to be placed back on the way they were. If you're unsure which way the original wires went on you'd need to contact an engineer or electrician for advice.
