Isolate Power and Remove the Lid
First of all make sure that you've isolated the machine from the mains.
The first thing i'm going to do is remove the lid. On this model the lid is secured at the front by 2 clips. Simply press them up and the lid will come off.
Remove the side panel
I'm now going to take the left hand side panel off to get access to the drain hose. This is done by removing 2 torx screws here, and here. You can then simply lift the panel off.
Remove the water matrix
The drain hose is fixed on the matrix and goes around and out the back of the dishwasher. You can see a small white cover that secures the inlet valve and the drain hose. We're going to remove the cover and release the hose. The drain hose is secured in the little ridge there.
Now we're going to remove the water matrix which is held in place by 2 screws, 2 nuts on the inside of the dishwasher and 2 clips. Now we can remove the inlet hose and remove the 2 electical connections.
Before we remove the matrix we need to place a towel in behind it because the matrix will have water inside. As I remove the matrix i'll place my finger over the outlet and then empty the water in to a bowl.
Remove and replace the drain hose
Now we can remove the drain hose and replace it with a new one.
To refit the new drain hose simply thread it through the back near the inlet valve. Refit the matrix, the inlet hose, inlet valve cover, the side panel and the lid.
