How To Replace The Power Switch On A Henry Hoover

This video and step by step guide will show you how to replace the on off switch on a Henry Vacuum cleaner.

Step 1 - Separate motor housing from cable reel moulding

First of all we need to remove henry’s head.  We can then remove the 4 screws and separate the motor housing from the cable reel moulding.

Step 2 - Remove the switch cover

Next we need to remove the switch cover to reveal the on/off switch on the Henry Vacuum Cleaner.  Note the wiring positions before you remove the wires and replace the on off switch.

Step 3 - Replace the switch, switch cover, and motor housing

Once the switch has been replaced we can re fit the switch cover, replace the motor housing and re fit the 4 screws.  We can now replace Henry vacuum cleaner's head and fasten the clips that are holding it in place.
