Excellent product -easy fit
Excellent service, quick delivery. The videos are a great help if fitting although I'd done similar before good reminder. The part was excellent and came from electrolux and was straight forward to fit.And a lot cheaper than a callout

Excellent value product
When I turned on my fan oven, my fuses went and when I reset them no heat was generated by the oven although the oven light came on and the fan whirred. I was preparing myself to callout an expensive engineer (probably 2 visits at £100 total plus parts). I googled the symptoms and my Electrolux model came across diagnosis that my element had probably gone... And I found the VERY helpful video on Ransom Spares website telling me how to change the element. So I ordered the replacement element (compatible) and it arrived as promised. I fitted it next day following the instructions and it worked like a dream. THANK YOU Ransom spares in saving me £100+ !

eased a potential problem
On August 10 - halfway through our busiest period of chambres d'hotes in the Pyrenees and halfway through cooking a leg of lamb, our electricity supply cut out. The general fuse had blown and further investigation showed that the main oven element had gone. It could have been a disaster, with a John Lewis cooker a long way from a UK outlet. But the next day I searched for the cooker on line and found Ransomspares - with the part and a video to show me how to change it - including how to take off the oven door, which is not at all clear. I removed the broken element, checked the picture of the replacement was the same and made the order, on Monday I received an email to confirm the part had been sent and it arrived on Friday August 16, it might have arrived on the Thursday, but that was a public holiday here - I fitted it soon after and the oven was up and going again - and cleaner! All within a week - so great service.
