How the heating element distributes heat in the oven
The fan heating element in the oven draws in air, heats it up, and circulates the hot air throughout the oven cavity through forced convection. This even heat distribution ensures efficient and consistent cooking, reducing hot spots and cold areas for faster and more even cooking for better culinary outcomes.
Why do fan heating elements fail?

Heating Element
The part was the correct one after using the site to find the correct part for the make and model of the cooker. It arrived ahead of the esitmated date, I fitted it myself as I am an electrician, it is easy but you must make sure the power is isolated. It works perfectly and on the whole was very a cheap fix to get the oven working. Excellent communication from Ransomspares. 5/5 across all the boards. Will definately use them again.

Good product, quite easy to fit.
Electrical tags in correct place for my cooker. Not all attachment points around the element aligned with existing cooker screw holes but enough to firmly secure the item.

Once again Ransom fixed our problem.
Had to replace the fan oven element. The spare part received from Ransom was easily fitted and appeared to be a similar price to one we purchased some years ago. At the moment everything is working fine.

Back to hot dinners
Relatively easy to fit, Zanussi a bit mean on length of cables so had to take the back off. Just hope this one doesn't pack up in the middle of this year's Xmas dinner.

Great product, exactly what was needed.
Ordered the product as the previous element had warped and tripped the electric. Fitted without issue and we now have a whisper quiet fan oven. Have ordered a few times from RansomSpares and will definitely be ordering again in the future.

oven heating again
The switch was tripped in the consumer box then oven would not heat. A visit ti this site and the appropriate part was ordered and delivered quickly. After watching the very helpful video the element has been fitted and the oven is back in business. Took about half an hour but that was because one of the spade connectors would not stay put. Fortunately I noticed before putting everything back together so the cable was still in reach. crimped the connector and job done. Thanks to Ransomspares for the quick delivery and how to video. Obviously don't know about durability at the moment.

Hi, Good afternoon. My oven (Moffat MSF 610W) stopped working. The fan comes on, however the oven does not heat up. I suspect it is the Element that is faulty. Please advise, what part number I would require. Serial number of my appliance is 54628137.

Hi Danny, although we cannot be 100% certain that replacing the element will fix your oven, it is the most likely component that causes the fault you describe. Take a look at our video on how to replace an oven element for more information. The part number you require is RS82802.
